  2. •    Set of  80 Old Testament question cards

  3. •    A map of  The Bible Lands

  4. NEW TESTAMENT STORIES    Bible references to 38 stories in the New Testament and their locations on the map.  Each of these stories is associated with a New Testament question card.

  5. OLD TESTAMENT STORIES :  Bible references to 49 Old Testament stories, 18 OT  events and 11 other OT locations.  Each of these stories is associated with an Old Testament question card.

Immediate goal:  Who can find “the location” first on the Bible Lands map?

Two teams compete--or two or three individuals look at the same time.

A leader reads the question card.  For example:  “Where did Jesus raise the widow’s son?” Luke 7:11

•    Find the answer in the Bible.

•    Find the location on the map.

•    Be the first to find it!!

•    The highest score wins

A simple Bible game that the children really enjoy.

How to Use as a Bible History/Geography Curriculum


MONDAY:    Read a Bible story listed in the “New Testament Stories”.  Find the location of the story on the Bible Lands Map.  Notice the province of the location, i.e. Galilee, Samaria, Judea, etc.


TUESDAY:  Find online modern pictures of the location for Monday’s story.  A good source is www.BiblePlaces.com.   For younger children, download a coloring picture of the story or event.  Each person should ask the others a question from the story.


WEDNESDAY:  Read a Bible story listed in the “Old Testament Stories”.  Find the location of the story on the Bible Lands Map.  Notice the province of the location.


THURSDAY:  Find online modern pictures of the location for Wednesday’s story.  A good source is www.BiblePlaces.com.   For younger children, download a coloring picture of the story or event.  Each person should ask the others a question from the story.


FRIDAY:  Play the game “Adventures in Bible Lands” to learn all the locations.
